An ocean of knowledge0-covering every aspect of human life - physical, mental, emotional,
intellectual and spiritual too - was the culture of yesterdays, is the way of happy life
today and will become necessity tomorrow. During 1000 years of slavery, this great science
the art of living-went into oblivion. Now many persons and organisations are trying to
re-popularise this system of total health in masses.
Kendra :
Gandhi Gyan Mandir Yoga Kendra, Hyderabad was established on the auspicious day of Gandhi
Jayanti i.e, 2nd October 1974 with the sole object of spreading the knowledge of Yoga for
better health in the suffering humanity. In this process, more than 1 lakh people have
been trained regarding the practical aspects of Yoga and its manifestation for improving
the day-to-day life. To further extend this program, more than 200 sub-centres have come
into existence all over the State and thus thousands of people are promoted towards
the goal. Our aim is that no house is left without the benefit and advantage of Yogic
practices for better, happy and healthy future.
Course :
Due to day-to-day increase in the demand of such Yoga schedules/ classes, the constant
need of well qualified Yoga teachers has been always felt all over the world. Therefore
the Kendra has floated a new project-a 3 month Intensive Training Course for the persons
who aspire to take up Yoga teaching as a Part-time or Full-time profession which would be
a result-oriented and job-oriented. This specific course will deal with practical and
theoretical aspects of Yoga and its teaching methodology.
Eligibility :
S.S.C (Matric) or its equivalent with minimum 18 years of age (relaxed to 16 years for the
students with minimum 3 years of Yoga practice). The candidate should be physically and
mentally fit to perform Yoga exercises and also should be receptive regarding the Training
course. There is no restriction of Caste, Religion, Faith, Sex, Mother tongue, Nationality
etc. However the management reserves its right to give Admission / Expulsion on
disciplinary grounds.
Fee :
The prescribed fee is payable in advance every month which will
be non-refundable and non-transferable.
How to apply :
The form available at the Kendra should be duly filled, signed and submitted along with
Xerox copy of SSC Marks. Memorandum. The
course is limited to 50 candidates only. Incomplete application will not be considered.
Timings :
Morning Batch : 7-00 to 9-45 a.m.
Evening Batch : 5-00 to 7-15 p.m
Examination :
Examinations in Theory, Practical, Viva and Teaching methodology will be conducted during
the course. Candidates having minimum 80% attendence only will be eligible for
participating in exams. Certificates, with specific Grades attained, will be awarded at
the end of the Course in a valedictory function. Let us together hope that the combined
